Aki & Co ampersand logo was hand printed using a hand-carved block. The hand embroidery is strategically placed to cover some "less than perfect" printing mishaps.
The artwork is inspired by my beautiful childhood growing up in Hawaii surrounded by geckos, plumerias, and hibiscus.
"aloha" is chainstitched on the strap using a vintage chainstitch embroidery machine.
