Mending Prices

Handcrafted repairs that honor the wear, the story, and the stitches.

All mends are done with intention and care — meant to reinforce, beautify, and extend the life of your well-loved item. Pricing reflects the time, materials, and skill involved in each technique. Final quotes may vary based on size, complexity, and garment condition.

🧷 Basic Patching

Functional and durable — patching helps your jeans live to see another day.

  • Small area (coin-sized) – $15–25
  • Medium patch (wallet or phone-sized) – $25–40
  • Multiple spots or heavy wear – $45–75

Great for knees, pockets, or worn-out seams.

Sashiko Mending

Inspired by traditional Japanese stitchwork, Sashiko blends strength and style in geometric or freeform patterns.

  • Small design (palm-sized or smaller) – $40–60
  • Medium to large area (like a thigh or seat panel) – $65–120
  • Custom layout or motif work – $100+

Each stitch is made by hand — perfectly imperfect and full of character.

🌼 Hand Embroidered Cover-Ups

Turn a tear into a treasure with one-of-a-kind embroidery that celebrates the flaw.

  • Tiny detail (1–2") – $35–50
  • Small motif (2–4") – $60–100
  • Larger design (5"+) – $100–200+

From flowers to bees and everything in between — let’s dream something up together.

🎨 Darning Repair

A timeless repair technique that strengthens worn or damaged fabric by reweaving thread into the cloth. Darning is both practical and poetic — a visible act of care that restores structure with stitch.

  • Small darn (1–2") – $25–45
  • Medium area (knees, elbows, seat) – $50–80
  • Larger or multiple darns – $100+

Let the mend become part of the story.
